ZA5/679-2 (Zone Valve) 22mm 2-port

Drayton motorised valves now feature removable actuators which simplify installation and future servicing.

No tools are required to fit the actuator to the body as it simply clicks into place.

To remove just press the release button and lift the actuator from the body.

i have an old Lifestyle 22mm 679H308-30L1, 2 port motorised valve which has an identical case which is secured by one screw. Will this newer model work? Answers1

Yes it will. Both valve and actuator must be swapped with the ones included.

I have a Barlo 2PV-2 2port valve with only three wires used , can I replace the actuator as I see the Drayton has five wires , Please advise on the wiring and the two extra wires . Answers1

The wire colours are the same. Just isolate the two extra wires.

hi I got a siemens 22mm 2 port actuator dva 2/5 (czv222) actuator, witch is the best one to replace mine and will the wiring be the same Answers1

If you are wanting to just change the actuator, then you will need the DVA2/5. If you are draining and replacing the whole valve, then this ZA5/679-2 will be suitable. The wiring is the same.

We are looking to replace standard radiator controls with a motorised solution to switch of radiators omn a room occupancy basis using our WiREMS Control Systems. Is this contol valve suitable, and if so, what is the control voltage Answers1

It is controlled by 230v. If you are controlling just one radiator, then a thermal actuator, with the appropriate body, is cheaper, more compact and quieter than a zone valve.
