i have an old comap TRV, the heat needs replacing but all the new TRVs wont srcew into place as they are too big . does this adapter go the right way for what I needd ? Answers1

I have a number of radiators currently fitted with old style Drayton TRVs (which just say Drayton TRV on the valve head). I also have a number which are fitted with more modern Drayton TRV 4 valve heads. I am replacing BOTH sorts with new Eve Thermo Smart TRVs to use in an Apple HomeKit network.

The new Eve valve heads are M30x1.5 threaded. Therefore they replaced the Drayton TRV4s with no adapter necessary and they are all working fine. Will this adapter allow me to replace the older Drayton TRVs with the Eve M30 threaded units? If not, which adapter do I need? Grateful for any advice. Many thanks in advance. Answers1

I have myson trv 2 way thermostatic heads pre 1997 , so i know i need the adaptor for the newer heads, but my question is , how the the new adaptors fit ? i take it i need to drain the system down and then take the old adaptors out and then replace with the new ?? Answers1

They just screw directly on the existing valve, the the new head screws onto the adaptor. No need drain the system.

I have a comap TRV with no thermostatic head ... all the ones I have from old radiators don’t seem to fit. Can you suggest a solution rather than drain down??
