I assume it is the RDE20.1 you have. If so, then this is the correct replacement. You will need to change the backplate, but the connections are the same.
-
Hi. This will be a direct swap for the RDE20.1
The RDE20.1 wasn't rated for the amperage of electrical heating, so there will be a relay already installed.
-
Hi. As long as it is under 1kw.
-
Yes. The neutral will not be needed and should be isolated. The remaining two wires will connect to the RDE100.1.
-
Live in should go to Q11 Live out should go to Q14 Neutral should not be connected. Do not rely on wire colours as they can be wrong. There must be a live out connection in order for the thermostat to bring the heating on. Check the wiring of the previous thermostat.
-
Hi. That's correct. An override will work until the next time/temperature change (or it change back manually) on thi model. For the party mode, you will need the next model up, the REV24.
-
Hi. Yes it will connect to the same 2 wires.
-
No. This is a wired thermostat, not wireless. You will need the RDJ100-RF.
-
No. This does not have the hot water function.
-
As long as you don't have a remote sensor connected to the top two terminals of the PB PZP.
-
You can try changing the button scanning rate (Parameter P21) to improve battery life. But 4 weeks does sound like a fault.
-
You will need the RDE100.1 for that wiring. It is not enough for the RDE100.
-
You need to change the backplate, however it will connect to the same two wires. So it is a simple swap.
-
Hi. This one is battery powered, so you would have to isolate the mains supply.
