No tools are required to fit the actuator to the body as it simply clicks into place.

To remove just press the release button and lift the actuator from the body.

I have a 18 year old FAR UFH system. The Drayton Actuator head Model TA/M2 28mm is making a strange noice and the swing arm no long works automatically. I have been searching for a replacement but have found out this product is now obsolete. Any suggestions as to a simple resolution please. Thank you Answers1

I have an ACL Lifestyle 2 port 779H335 30L10. It sticks sometimes and needs freed using the lever. It is 25 years old and probably needs replaced. The Drayton ZA6/779-2 seems to be the direct replacement BUT it has a clip on facility. My one doesn't. Does that mean that the new head would not fit the old body (and thus need a system drain down) please? Answers1

That's correct. You would need to change the body was well. However the dimensions and thread are the same - so no pipework alterations are needed.

If you have the old "lifestyle" model then no, you will need to replace the whole valve. If you have the newer ZA6 model, then you can replace just the actuator (grey box).

As long as the valve body it 28mm, then it will be a straight swap.

No, you will need to replace the whole valve. The old Lifestyle valves had a non-replaceable head.
