They work best fitted horizontally, but they are fine vertically.

This is not suitable to replace a Danfoss one. You will need the Danfoss RAVL or RAV sensor.

I need to replace some old Barlo trv heads, which are no longer functional due to broken tabs. They are ~ 30yrs old and are fitted with a band and nut. Will this model (code 02C02) be a suitable replacement? If so, can they be fitted vertically as my existing ones, or must they only be used in the horizontal position? Answers1

I have a Giacomini radiator thermostat (is that the same as what people are calling a radiator head?) that needs replacing.
