Ask a Question about Honeywell T4 Programmable Thermostat
-
Yes. The neutral will not be needed - so should be isolated.
-
Yes, it will connect to the same 2 wires.
-
The T4 is not designed for surface wiring, and is larger than a single gang box. You may need to make or source a larger box for it to sit on.
-
Yes it will. The T6360B will have a neutral which will not be needed by the T4. So just isolate it.
-
I'm afraid not.
-
Hi Unfortunately nothing will fit onto the CM901 backplate. However, there are a few options that will connect to the same 2 wires. If you you can let us know your requirements on functionality, we will recommend something.
-
Hi Yes, it will connect to the same 2 wires as the CM67.
-
Yes it can.
-
Hi. It depends how your system is setup. But its not normally possible without plumbing changes.
-
The two wires just make/break the live to the zone valve. Nothing else is needed apart from the incoming mains.
-
Hi. Yes, a sundial S-Plan will give you less control and the timer will need to be placed where the junction box was (usually your airing cupboard). A programmable thermostat like the T4 will give you better control and the 2-wires to the old Smartfit room unit may be able to be used. However you will need a separate timer for the hot water which again will be in your airing cupboard. I would recommend the wireless Delta Dore 18E04 instead with motorised valves, a wiring centre, and a cylinder thermostat. This will be much easier to install and give you similar control to the old Smartfit system.
-
This T4 would be suitable. The neutral to terminal 2 on the T6360B is not needed so should be isolated.
-
To power the thermostat. The wiring to the thermostat is normally control wires only. There is rarely mains wiring as well.

You need HCO code 05A01.
