I want to replace an old Honeywell wired wall stat with this Sunvic TXL1012 wireless model, connected to the Drayton LP241 controller of my Wallstar oil boiler. Will the TPI energy-saving feature of the new stat work as designed? Answers1

It does require a permanent live, so you will need to either add one, or install the receiver next to the programmer instead.

We have a TLX 7506 which has stopped working what can replace it? We have the TLX 1206 receiver.

Nothing will connect to the existing receiver.

This will replace it, but you will need to replace the receiver with the one included.

hello - my TLX7506 wireless thermostat and 1206 receiver are becoming a little unreliable. As I'm not an electrician, I'm cautious about a DIY replacement - but noted your advice that replacing the 1206 with this receiver unit is just using the same 4 wires. If it's an obvious like-for-like swap then perhaps I should take it on!. Can you confirm it really is this simple?? thanks... Answers1

It is fairly simple. Live, Neutral and two control wires. If you can change a plug, then you should be OK.

It is 30m in open air. Walls and ceilings will lower this depending on construction.
