There are 5 terminals on the receiver that are normally wired as follows:
N - Neutral
L - Live
ON - Output to motorised valve or boiler
COM - Switched live from programmer
OFF - Not normally used

It does require a permanent live, so you will need to either add one, or install the receiver next to the programmer instead.

Nothing will connect to the existing receiver.
This will replace it, but you will need to replace the receiver with the one included.
